This is such an awesome family. Our neighbor at our cottage in Caseville asked if I would photograph her son’s family on the beach. These guys are amazing. In about 4 months, they adopted 3 little ones. The two youngest are just 3 months apart and totally adorable. Can you imagine that? Going from a couple to a family of 5 in just 4 months? Unbelievable. And they have done such a great job with the kids. They are so lovey – all of them were totally comfortable with me holding them and carrying them. Just adorable.

With four kids under 4, I thought the task at hand would be a bit difficult. Surprisingly, however, it was not too hard at all. The kids were adorable and very lovey with each other. When I took each child away to get some individual pictures, they were so sweet. I love these pictures! Good things happen when you just let the kids be kids!

Meet little James. Born exactly one year and one day after his big brother, he will always have a built-in buddy. I was a bit pessimistic about the possibility of getting a picture of the two together, because as those of you that had a 1- to 3-year-old when the new baby came know, it’s pretty darn difficult sometimes. But we had a game plan and it worked, surprisingly! Big brother Franco laid right next to the baby and smiled. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Except maybe to have a very sleepy baby, but I got that, too! Slept the whole time! I can’t even decide my favorite picture. What do you think?

Oh Landon. He always gives me so many smiles. I was lucky enough to photograph him at 6 and 9 months and now he’s one! He loved standing and pointing (which I’ve noticed all these one-year-olds do!) and is always such a happy baby. Grandma got to jump in a few, too. We actually got to take his pictures right on his birthday. Happy birthday, Landon!

Love this family! Grandma booked this session a few months ago for her two daughters and their families and it was such a treat. The kids were great and the parents were great. Sometimes when you get a big bunch together, it can get a little chaotic. This time, however, it went so smooth. I photographed the littlest ones a few months ago and they were not too keen on the idea of getting pictures taken, but this time, they gave me lots of smiles! I had so much fun with them doing new poses. The family hasn’t had family pictures since the girls were little, so I think it is so cool they get to have all the grandkids in the pictures at the same age as the girls were. Meet the Lucido family! **click on the photo to see bigger (and better!)**

Check out these adorable cousins. The three oldest are all siblings and the little one, Marisa, is their cousin, who I photographed a few months ago. We had one of the hottest days this summer to deal with, but their grandparents’ house had this beautifully landscaped backyard that we were able to use. The grandparents’ dreamed about one day having their grandkids play in the little steam in their yard and now they love splashing in there. Meet these four adorable kids.

Recognize the littlest one? Back in January I photographed her and she is also on many of my samples and marketing materials. Now she is one! Mom is one of my old neighbors and was good friends with my sister, Alyssa, growing up. These kids are so adorable and I was so happy to see all of them!

I also want to mention that VERY soon, I will be posting the new contest. It will include sessions from May and June. There are quite a few, so competition will be tough, but hopefully we can get lots of winners! Check back soon!
