Oh man! Five days old is such a perfect age to take newborn pictures. Like so many newborns lately, it took us a little while to get him to sleep, but I was never worried. I knew once we got him sleeping he’d be out like a lightbulb and he sure was. He slept like a little rock during the session! Thanks to some gassy episodes, we got SO many smiles. He is the smiliest baby I’ve met so far. And with those dimples! Just take a look at his big brother and you’ll know he will be quite the heartthrob in a few years. Check out that smile in the last picture. Too cute!

Isn’t she so cute? Six months. One of my favorites. We had a great (hot!) day at Heritage Garden. She was a very sweet baby and very calm. It was so nice to meet her and her super nice parents!

I was so proud of these guys at our session. These two brothers decided to get a nice family portrait of them and one’s daughter as a surprise anniversary gift for their parents. They planned it all on their own, coordinated the outfits, and even got the little girl’s hair done. I’m sure all you moms out there with little ones hope your kids would think to do this for you when they grow up. Thoughtful, isn’t it? It was a real treat to meet them and little Kailey, who is just a doll!

Finley’s mama has been waiting a long time for these pictures. I think we’ve been planning on them since February! Now Miss Finley is 6 months old and she is so darn cute. I was loving her big blue eyes and her curly hair and those chubby, chubby cheeks! We got her right during nap time, so the smiles weren’t exactly easy to come by but we definitely got some! Besides, who needs smiles when you have this adorable face??

This one was so fun because Mom got Franco a little smash cake and boy, did he love it! It took a minute or two for him to get what it was for, but after a little coaxing from Dad, he was diving in. Soon enough he was holding the cake with both hands and smashing it into his face. So cute!

Seriously, I want these girls as models. They are so beautiful! Once again, we had a lovely day at Heritage Gardens and these two were perfect. I loved their colorful outfits. These below are some of my absolute favorites from the session. My favorite ones were taken in this little nook in the park that had a ton of mosquitos. I got about 8 bites, but I’m so glad we were able to stick it out for a few minutes to capture this. Can’t wait to show their mom the rest!

What a doll this little Johnny was! He was such a good baby and is so loved, especially by his two big sisters. I got to meet Grandma and Grandpa and their uncle, too. We had great weather and they had such a beautiful home and backyard to photograph in. Here are a few of the nearly 100 (yikes!) that are going to be in their gallery. Enjoy!
